《关于在短时间内的某几个人的经过》剧情简介:Voice 1 (male "professional announcer" type): This neigh borhood(1) wa s made for the wretche d dignity of the petty b ourgeoisie, f or respectabl e occupations and intellect ual touri sm. The sed entary populat ion of the u pper floo rs was sh eltered f rom the inf luences of th e street. This neighborhood h as remained t he same. It wa s the strange setting of our story, wher e a systematic questioning of all the div ersions and wo rks of a soci ety, a total critique of its idea of happi ness, was expr essed i n acts. Th ese people also s corned &q uot;subjective profundity&amp ;quot;. The y were i nterested in no thing but an a dequate and concrete expressio n of themselv es. Voice 2 (Debord, monot one): Huma n beings ar e not fully conscious of their re al life - u sually groping in the dark; overwhelmed by the c onseque nces of their a cts; at every m oment group s and indi viduals find th emselves confro nted with resu lts they ha ve not w ished. Vo ice 1: T hey said t hat oblivi on was their r uling passio n. They wanted to re invent everything e ach day; to become th e maste rs and p ossessor s of their own lives. Just as one does not j udge a man accordin g to the co nception he has of himself , one cannot judge such pe riods o f transit ion according to their own consci ousness; on the contrar y, one mu st expl ain the c onsciousness th rough the co ntradict ions of material life, th rough the con flict be tween socia l conditions an d the fo rces of social product ion. The pro gress achieved in the dominat ion of na ture was not ye t matche d by a corresp onding libe ration of ever yday life. Youth p assed away among t he various cont rols of resigna tion. Our c amera has cap tured f or you a few as pects of a provision al microsoci ety. The kno wledge o f empiric al facts r emains abst ract and superficial as long as i t is not concre tized by it s integr ation into the whole "” w hich al one permits the supers ession of partial an d abstract prob lems so as to arrive at their c oncrete essenc e, and implici tly at their meanin g. This gr oup was on the margins of the econo my. It tended t oward a role of pure consumpti on, and f irst of all the free co nsumption o f its time. It thus fou nd itself d irectly en gaged in qualit ative variation s of everyday life but d eprived of any me ans to interve ne in th em. The grou p ranged over a very smal l area. The same times brought th em back to the same places. No one went to bed earl y. Discu ssion on the meani ng of all t his conti nued... Voice 2 : &quo t;Our life i s a jour ney &quo t;” In th e winter and th e night . & quot;” We seek our passag e...&quo t; Voice 1 : The abando ned literatu re neve rtheless exerte d a dela ying action on new affective f ormulation s. Voice 2: T here was the fatigue and the cold o f the mor ning in this much-t raversed la byrinth, l ike an en igma that we h ad to resolv e. It wa s a looking-g lass reality t hrough w hich we had to discover the po tential ri chness of rea lity. On t he bank of the riv er eveni ng began onc e again; and caresse s; and the import ance of a world wi thout impor tance. Just as the eye s have a blur red vision of many thi ngs and can see only o ne clearly, s o the will can str ive only in completely toward divers e objects and can com pletely l ove onl y one at a time. Vo ice 3 (young g irl): No o ne count ed on the futu re. It wou ld never b e possible to be to gether later, or an ywhere els e. There would never be a greater freed om. Voice 1 : The ref usal of ti me and of growing old aut omatically limited encounters in this narro w, contingent zone, where wh at was lacking was felt as ir reparable. Th e extreme precarious ness of th e means of ge tting b y without work ing was at the root o f this imp atience which m ade exces ses nec essary an d breaks defini tive. Voice 2: One never real ly contest s an organiz ation of exis tence with out cont esting al l of that organizat ion&#39 ;s forms of l anguage. Vo ice 1: When fre edom is pra cticed in a closed circ le, it fades i nto a dream, becomes a m ere representa tion of itself. The a mbiance of pla y is by nature unstable. At any mo ment " ordinary lif e&qu ot; can p revail onc e again . The geogr aphical limitation of p lay is even more st riking t han its tem poral limitatio n. Any ga me takes plac e within th e contours o f its spatial domain. Aro und the nei ghborho od, around it s fleet ing and threate ned imm obility, s tretched a half -known city wh ere people met only b y chance, losing their way forev er. The gir ls who foun d their way there, because they were legally under the c ontrol o f their famili es unti l the age o f eightee n, were o ften recap tured by the d efenders of t hat detes table ins titution. They were ge nerally confine d under the g uard of those creatures wh o among all the bad product s of a bad so ciety a re the mos t ugly and repugnant: nun s. What usua lly makes documen taries s o easy to un derstand is the arbitrary l imitation of t heir subject m atter. They describe t he atomiz ation of social functio ns and the isol ation o f their products. One c an, in contra st, envisage t he entir e complexi ty of a moment which is n ot reso lved into a wo rk, a mom ent whos e moveme nt indis solubly contai ns facts and values and wh ose mea ning does n ot yet appear . The subj ect matter of t he docum entary would th en be this confus ed totalit y. Voice 2: T he era had a rrived at a level of kno wledge and te chnical mean s that ma de possibl e, and in creasing ly necessary, a direct cons truction of al l aspects o f a liber ated affectiv e and practical existenc e. The appearance of these superi or means o f actio n, still unu sed because of the delay s in the project of liquidating the commodi ty economy, had alrea dy conde mned aesthetic activity, wh ose ambitio ns and powers were both outda ted. The d ecay of art and of all the values of former mores had formed our sociol ogical bac kground. The r uling c lass&am p;#39;s mono poly ove r the i nstrume nts we needed to contro l in or der to rea lize the collec tive art of our time had excl uded us from a cultura l productio n offic ially devoted to illu strating and repeating the past. An art film on this ge neration can o nly be a film on it s absence of real c reations. Everyon e unthin kingly followed the p aths learned o nce and for a ll, to thei r work and t heir home, t o their predict able fu ture. For them duty had a lready become a habit, and hab it a dut y. They d id not see the deficiency of t heir city. The y thought the deficien cy of their lif e was natural. We wanted to break out of this condition ing, in que st of a nother use of the urba n landscape, in ques t of new passio ns. The atmosphere of a few places g ave us inti mations of t he future p owers of a n architecture it would be ne cessary to crea te to b e the s upport and fram ework for less mediocre games. We could expect nothing of anyt hing we had not ourselv es alte red. The urban environme nt proclai med the o rders and tastes of the r uling so ciety just a s violently as the news papers. It is man who makes the u nity of the world, b ut man has ex tended hi mself eve rywhere . Peopl e can see n othing aroun d them that is not the ir own im age; ever ything spea ks to them of themselves . Their very l andscape is al ive. There w ere obst acles everywhe re. There w as a cohesion in the obstacles of a ll types . They mainta ined the coh erent reign o f poverty . Every thing b eing connecte d, it was ne cessary to ch ange everyt hing by a unitary st ruggle, or no thing. It was neces sary to li nk up with the masses, but we were su rrounded b y sleep . Voice 3: The dicta torship of t he prolet ariat is a de sperate struggl e, bloody a nd bloodless , violent a nd peacefu l, military a nd economic, educatio nal and a dministrati ve, agains t the for ces and traditions o f the old world . Voice 1: In this country i t is onc e again the men of order wh o have rebell ed. The y have rein forced thei r power. T hey hav e been able t o aggrava te the grote squeness of the ruling conditions according to their wi ll. They ha ve embel lished their system with the fu nereal ceremonies of the past. Voic e 2: Years , like a s ingle inst ant prolonged to this point, come to an e nd. Voice 1: What was di rectly lived reappears fr ozen in the distance, fit in to the tastes and illusio ns of an era, c arried away with it. V oice 2: T he appearanc e of events t hat we ha ve not made , that others h ave made again st us, now obl iges us to b e aware of th e passage of ti me, its results, t he trans formation of o ur own desi res into even ts. Wha t diffe rentiate s the p ast fro m the present is precisely its out-of -reach objecti vity; there is no more should-be; bei ng is so consu med tha t it has c eased to exist . The details are already l ost in the dust of t ime. Who was afraid of life, a fraid of the night, af raid of being take n, afrai d of bein g kept? Voice 3: What sho uld be abol ished c ontinues, and we continue to wea r away with it. We are engulf ed. We are separate d. The years pass and we haven& amp;#39;t changed anyt hing. Voice 2: Once again morning in t he same streets . Once ag ain the fatigue of so many simila rly passed nights. It is a walk that h as last ed a lo ng time. V oice 1: Re ally hard t o drink more. Voice 2: Of course o ne might m ake a film of i t. But even if such a film succ eeds in bein g as fundamenta lly disconn ected and un satisfying as t he reality it deals with, it will never be more than a re-creati on & quot;” poor and false like this botched tra veling shot. Vo ice 3: There are n ow people who pride themselv es on bei ng autho rs of films , as o thers were authors of novels. They are even mo re backward than t he novelists b ecause t hey are unawar e of the decompositio n and ex haustion of individua l expressi on in our time , ignorant o f the end of the arts of passivity . They are pr aised f or thei r sincerity s ince they dram atize, with more persona l depth, the convent ions of wh ich their life consists. There is talk of the l iberatio n of the cinema . But what does it matter t o us if one mor e art is li berated through which T om, Dick or Harry can jo yously expres s their slavish sentiments? Th e only inter esting vent ure is t he liberation o f everyd ay life, not only in the pers pective s of his tory but for us and right away. This e ntails th e withering a way of al ienated for ms of commun ication. The c inema, too, h as to be d estroyed . Voice 2: In the fi nal analysis , stars are created by t he need we have for them, and not by their talent or la ck of ta lent or even by the fi lm industry or advertising. Miserable need, dismal, anonymous life that would li ke to exp and itself t o the di mensions of cinema life. T he imagin ary life on t he screen is the product of this real need. The star is the projec tion of this n eed. The images of the adver tisement s during the intermi ssions are m ore suited than any others for evoking an in termission of life. To rea lly desc ribe this era it would no doubt be necessary t o show many ot her things. But what wo uld be the poin t? Better to grasp the total ity of what has been done and what remains t o be done t han to add m ore rui ns to th e old world of the spe ctacle and o f memories. 1. This film, whi ch evokes t he lettris t exper iences a t the or igin of the situationist mo vement, ope ns with shots of the Par is district f requented by the lettrists in the ea rly 1950 s. Voice 1 (male &a mp;quot; professional announcer& amp;quot; type) : This neighbo rhood(1) was mad e for
